 Name Jun Ayamine Alias Jibril / J Age Birth Date Oct 1, 1982 Signs Year of the Rooster, Virgo Gender Male Sexuality Personality Jibril wears a mask of apathy and finds it hard to care for anyone save for a rare handful that he could trust. He is levelheaded and logical, seldom losing his composure. He does not let anything compromise his self-control. He is blunt, and does not mince his words when there is a point to be made. His use of irony and sarcasm makes it hard for others to know what is on his mind. |
Appearance Jibril stands at five foot six, and possesses a slender build. He has pale blond hair that falls past his shoulders and gold eyes. Delicate and fragile are some of the words that are used to describe him. His health is frail at best and he falls ill easily. Jibril’s preferred style is smart casual. He leans towards pastels or deep muted colors and is usually seen in slacks and turtlenecks and a jacket or coat, though he can sometimes be seen in traditional Japanese clothing. PB; Kuzuki Kakyou from X/1999. Habit/Neurosis Jibril has habit of plucking or shredding things, especially flower petals or paper. The more nervous or agitated he is, the faster they get shredded. Thus, it would not be too unusual to find him surrounded by shredded paper or flower petals especially when he is working on an investigation or near one of L's 'tests'. Depersonalization Disorder & Delusional Disorder Jibril suffers from depersonalization disorder. He often feels detached from reality, as if he was seeing his life through a veil or through another person’s eyes. It does not help that he have vivid dreams, so his dreams and his reality sometimes merge. Panic Disorder & Separation Anxiety Disorder If there is one thing that Jibril cannot stand, it is to be separated from the people whom he has a strong emotional attachment to. In fact, he constantly worries about it. This has lead to him suffering episodes of severe anxiety attacks. Though he mostly has it under control, it usually occurs when he is out conducting investigations on his own for more than two, three days. |
History Jibril was born in Japan to a Japanese father and a British mother. He is the youngest in the family with a brother who is four years older than himself. Due to his heritage and his differences, he was picked on at school. Slowly, he began to withdraw into himself, preferring to spend time alone with his imagination. Not long after that, he was diagnosed as having depersonalization disorder. With their youngest child suffering, Jibril’s parents decided to migrate to England in hopes that a change of environment coupled with treatment would improve his condition. It did help and for a short amount of time when everything was looking up, a tragedy struck the family. His father, mother and brother were brutally murdered and Jibril stumbled upon their dead bodies. As he had no other relatives, he was sent to the orphanage. With his family’s death weighing heavily on him, his condition only worsened and the administrators were at lost as to what to do regarding the child until Quillsh Wammy heard of him. It was not long before Jibril was transferred to Wammy’s House that the brilliant inventor founded where he remained up till today. Other relevant information ✿ He transferred to Wammy’s House when it was newly founded when he five, making him one of the first few children at the orphanage. ✿ He knows L, A and B, and they happen to be one of few rare people he looks up and opens up to. ✿ J uses the Memory Palace to store memories.
